5K And 10K Run Event
Asheville Eye Associates 7th Annual Run the Forest 5K and 10K Run is a community wellness event which will benefit a local non-profit organization each year. Asheville Eye continues to support our regional community health and wellness in many aspects. The Biltmore Forest is a beautiful destination for this race and a way to relax, enjoy nature, have fun, and support a local organization!
This year Asheville Eye Associates is proud to be partnering with Our Voice, a non-profit crisis intervention and prevention agency which serves victims of sexual violence, age 13 through adult, in Buncombe County. The agency was founded in 1974 as an all-volunteer, grassroots organization. The agency remained underground until August 1983 when it received 501(c)(3) status as a non-profit agency. The 7th Annual Run the Forest 5K and 10K Run is part of the 2019 Asheville Track Club Grand Prix Series.

If you’ve pre-registered, early packet pickup is available for participants registered on, October 18th from 12:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Asheville Eye Associates’ 8 Medical Park Drive office.

$100 Cash Prize to Overall top female and Overall top male. $100 cash prize to overall top female Masters and top male Masters. Cash prizes to top 3 male and female in the following categories.
1-6, 7-10, 11-13, 14-18, 19-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 54-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, and 75 over
